El Encanto
In 2012, Juan stepped into his family’s legacy, taking the reins of their two coffee farms with a bold vision. He introduced a rich variety of cultivars—not just for diversity’s sake, but to deeply understand how each one responds to the unique microclimates of their land. His goal: to discover and refine the perfect expression of each variety.
Set in the lush hills of Bolívar, Antioquia, El Encanto stretches from 1380 to 1800 meters above sea level. Of its 26 hectares, every square meter is used with intention, planted with cultivars ranging from the widely respected Castillo and Colombia to rare gems like SL28, Maragogipe, Geisha, and Caturra Chiroso.
